Diablo 3 Collector’s Edition FAQs

How much does the Diablo 3 Collector’s Edition cost?

It retails for $99 USD, but many stores have already sold through their pre-orders – driving current prices up $50 to $100 above retail.

How limited is the Diablo 3 Collector’s Edition?

No one knows for sure – as Blizzard will not disclose this information – but production will probably not meet the demand.

What’s included in the Diablo 3 CE?

There is a bounty of Diablo 3 goodness packed into the CE – both physical and digital goods. To see everything you get with the Diablo 3 Collector’s Edition, visit the Diablo 3 Release Date post.

What if I’m already getting Diablo 3 for free with my WoW Annual Pass?

If you’re a WoW Annual Pass subscriber – Blizzard will award you four free months of WoW – which will count towards your annual pass. This is somewhat of a “rebate offer” to make it seem easier to cough up the $99 for the Diablo 3 CE.

What if I have a copy of Diablo 3 already and I just want the exclusive in-game items that come with the Collector’s Edition? Can I keep the items and give the game to a friend?

The exclusive in-game items that come in the Collector’s Edition are attached to the CD key of each Diablo 3 CE. Meaning, you cannot divide the digital items from the game license. If you want the exclusive items – but you already own a regular copy of the game – then you must buy a copy of the CE and “upgrade” your account.

What if I don’t play WoW, and therefore have no use for the Fetish Shaman Pet?

Too bad for you. However, if you ever do feel like joining the Panda-monium, then the Fetish Shaman pet will be waiting for you in your mailbox.

I want a copy of the Diablo 3 CE! Where can I buy one?

Amazon.com is a good place to pre-order the Diablo 3 Collector’s Edition, plus you can select same-day delivery if you’d like (for a small additional charge).
