Where Are the Diablo 3 Screenshots Saved?

Those of you wondering how you can get to the screenshots you’ve taken in-game – here’s a quick guide to show you how…

Diablo 3 Screenshots Folder (Windows)

On a Windows machine, screenshots are saved in: C:\Users\WINDOWSUSERNAME\Documents\Diablo III\Screenshots\

The default keybind is Print Screen (duh…)

Diablo 3 Screenshots Folder (Mac OSX)

The D3 screenshots folder is much trickier to locate on OSX.

Here’s how you do it on Lion:

1. Open Finder
2. Click Go in the toolbar up top and then press and hold the Option key
3. Select Library from the drop-down
4. Drill down through: Application Support\Blizzard\Diablo III\Screenshots

If you’re running an older version of OSX, such as Snow Leopard:

1. Open Finder
2. Click on the user name
3. Click on Library
4. Go to: Application Support\Blizzard\Diablo III\Screenshots

The default print screen key on a Mac is F13, which will pose a problem for many players – as there is no F13 key on a tenkeyless Mac keyboard. It’s an easy fix, however, so to assign it to a proper key, you do this…

1. Click on Options from within the game
2. Select Key Bindings
3. Scroll down to Take a Screenshot
4. Click on the default keybind and change it to whatever (I use F12)
5. Click Accept
