With the introduction of both the gold auction house and RMAH (Real Money Auction House) in Diablo 3, the gold game is going to be very hot. Players are now going to be able to buy and sell items – using in-game gold AND real money. This is no doubt going to make gold a very hot commodity in Diablo 3 – unlike how it was viewed in Diablo 2 – where it was mainly used for repairs and the occasional item gambling.
